Because of ongoing Covid-19 restrictions the 188th Durham Regatta will be a rowing and sculling only regatta, taking place on the River Wear on Saturday June 12th and Sunday June 13th 2021. The Entries Prospectus will be published on the website on Tuesday, May 18th and entries will open on BROE on Saturday, May 22nd.
The number of entries that can be accommodated will be fewer than in previous years but we will endeavour to accept as many as possible. Entries are set to close on June 3rd but will be suspended earlier if necessary, so please have your entries ready.
The Regatta will follow British Rowing Managing Covid-19 advice for the Rowing Community, relevant Government and County Council guidance, and will only proceed if the government’s roadmap out of lockdown permits. Spectators are strongly discouraged.
