Facilities in 2021
Availability of refreshment in 2021 will be limited and apart from provision at Durham ARC (governed by their own local COVID-19 rules). It would be advisable if competitors brought their own water and water bottles. Refreshments will be available at Durham ARC, outside at their Café/Beer Garden. Rules for ordering and being seated at tables and table service will apply all weekend. Competitors should be aware that there is a cashless system for ordering and should come prepared if they wish to avail themselves of refreshments.
Blue badge parking is available on the track adjacent to Durham ARC and should be accessed via the Site Vehicle Access route.
Trailer Toilets will be available for competitors and helpers/volunteers in the car park at Durham ARC. These will be cleaned throughout the regatta and fully serviced between Saturday/Sunday. Please follow any notices with regard to social distancing and use of the toilets that may be posted at the entrance.
NERAMS Ltd will be on duty, based near Regatta Control and can be contacted via Regatta Control. Appropriate COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to by NERAMS in providing First Aid services. Regatta Control is located adjacent to the Regatta start (see course map). It opens 07:00 daily and closes 30 minutes after racing concludes
If you need medical attention and are unable to make your way to the first aid facility or nearest first aider, please summon the nearest Regatta official.
Lost property should be taken to Regatta Control, located within the portacabin next to the Regatta start, which is upstream of the bandstand. Alternatively, please hand lost property to a Regatta official. Lost property will be held for two weeks after the Regatta, before being passed on to the Police. If you have lost any property, please contact the Regatta Secretary.
