2013

The 180th Durham Regatta took place on Saturday 8th and 9th June 2013 and was a resounding success. As usual, the Regatta welcomed crews from all over the UK to compete on the picturesque River Wear, against the backdrop of Durham Cathedral. A full programme of both short and long course races took take place over both days with much excellent rowing and some excruciatingly close finishes.

A huge number of spectators and visitors lined the river banks to cheer on the rowers, to gaze at the amazing range of cars at the traditional classic car rally held on the racecourse alongside the regatta and to visit the stalls and attractions of all varieties that provide the spectacle, colour and activities that make Durham Regatta such a friendly place to be.
